The
Louisiana Board of Pharmacy was created by the Louisiana
Legislature in 1888 (Original Board 1816) and charged with the
responsibility of regulating the practice of pharmacy in
Louisiana in the interest of the health, safety, and welfare
of the citizens of the state of Louisiana.
