Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
Now that the state has finally approved the software vendor proposal, the Board intends to move forward with the implementation phase of the project. We have partnered with Health Information Designs, Inc. (HID), which is located in Auburn, AL. The company has experience in the operation of statewide prescription monitoring programs, now working in Alabama, North Carolina, North Dakota, and South Carolina. In addition, they are implementing two additional programs in Arizona and Vermont.
